Remote

Remote is your home screen — it lists your boards and lets you open one to see its screen, forward a service, run commands or check how it is doing.

Remote

All your boards in one place

Remote is the first thing you see when you open awaBerry. It shows every board you have added and whether each one is online right now. Tap a board to open it, and you get a simple grid of tools for whatever you want to do — see its screen, move things across, run a command, or just check that all is well.

Every session runs over an encrypted connection, and your board is never left open to the public internet. Only your account can reach it.

What you can do here

Each board appears as a card with its name and current status. Open one and pick a tool:

  • Remote Desktop — see and control the board's screen, live.
  • Web-to-Local — bring a service running on the board (a home dashboard, a media page) to your own computer.
  • Intelligent Terminal — type commands, or describe what you want and let a built-in AI assistant do it.
  • System Monitor — a quick health check: how busy the board is, how much memory and space are left, and what it is running.

Haven't added a board yet? That happens over in Connect.

Open a board and get started

  1. Select Remote in the left-hand menu.
  2. Find your board in the list and check that it shows as online.
  3. Tap the board to open it.
  4. Choose a tool from the grid — for example Remote Desktop or System Monitor.
  5. When you are finished, close the session. That's it.

If a board shows as offline, make sure it has power and is connected to your network, then give it a moment to reappear.
