Intelligent Terminal
A terminal that can help
The Intelligent Terminal connects you to your board and gives you two ways to work. There is a classic terminal where you type commands yourself — a gentle, friendly place to learn — and a chat where you just describe what you want in plain words and a built-in AI assistant works out the commands and runs them for you. Both use the same secure connection.
Terminal and chat
- Terminal view — a live command line with real-time output, for running things directly on the board.
- Chat view — describe a task and the AI assistant figures out the steps, runs them and tells you what happened.
- Switch between the two at any time; the header always shows the connection status (connecting, connected, disconnected and so on).
- Open up to four terminal windows at once, keep a command history, and save a set of commands as a script to reuse later.
- Switch on administrator rights for commands that need them.
In the chat's hands-free mode the assistant can run its suggested steps for you automatically, and before anything risky — something that would delete data or needs administrator rights — it shows a clear warning first, so nothing happens without your say-so.
Run a command or ask the assistant
- Open your board from Remote and choose the Intelligent Terminal.
- Wait for the status to show connected.
- To do it yourself, stay in the terminal view and type your commands.
- To get help, switch to the chat view and describe what you want — for example, "install the latest updates and restart".
- Read back what the assistant did and the result it returned.
- Disconnect when you're finished.
