Mailboard AI settings — board appearance and sticker size, AI configuration, managing inboxes and their colours and signatures, deletion behaviour, and local-data controls.

Settings

Summary

Settings is where you tailor Mailboard AI. It is grouped into Board Configuration (how the board looks and how many stickers it holds), AI Configuration (a shortcut to your AI model / subscription setup), and Email Inbox Configuration (add, edit, colour, sign, enable, or remove each linked inbox). Further down are controls for how deletion behaves and for clearing the app's local data. The two icons at the top jump straight to AI configuration or to the inbox list.

Features

  • Board Configuration
    • Sticker size — small, normal, or big stickers.
    • Max stickers on board — cap how many email stickers are shown at once.
    • Appearance / Board style — set the cork texture to Subtle, Moderate, or Intense.
  • AI Configuration — opens the AI model / managed-AI setup (see AI Model Setup).
  • Email Inbox Configuration
    • Add inbox — link a new account (see Inboxes).
    • Inbox colour — pick the board colour for each inbox (each colour can only be used by one inbox).
    • Signature — set a per-inbox signature and choose to use it for new mails and/or replies.
    • Enable / disable — temporarily pause an inbox without removing it.
    • Remove inbox — delete an inbox after a confirmation prompt; shows last-sync / connected time.
  • Delete emails removed from board — when on, taking a sticker off the board also deletes the email from the inbox.
  • Delete emails without confirmation — when on, the delete action removes an email immediately without asking.
  • Sync Data with iCloud — account-wide toggle to sync board data via iCloud.
  • Delete local data — clears the app's locally stored configuration and cache.
  • Copy log — copies recent activity logs for troubleshooting.

Scenarios

Make the board easier to read

  1. Open Settings → Board Configuration.
  2. Set Sticker size to big and choose a Board style you like.
  3. Adjust Max stickers on board to control how busy the board gets.

Recolour or pause an inbox

  1. Open Email Inbox Configuration and find the inbox.
  2. Tap its colour to choose a new board colour (one not already used by another inbox).
  3. Toggle the inbox off to pause it, or on to resume; its stickers follow.

Make removing a sticker also delete the email

  1. Turn on Delete emails removed from board.
  2. Optionally turn on Delete emails without confirmation to skip the prompt.
  3. From now on, clearing a sticker deletes the underlying email from your inbox.

Remove an inbox

  1. Open Email Inbox Configuration and select the inbox.
  2. Choose Remove and confirm in the dialog.
  3. The inbox and its stickers are removed from the board.
