Link and manage email accounts in Mailboard AI — Gmail and Microsoft one-click sign-in, Apple iCloud with an app-specific password, and custom IMAP providers.

Inboxes

Summary

An inbox is an email account that Mailboard AI watches and pins to the board. You can link several inboxes; each is given its own colour so its stickers are easy to recognise. The Choose provider screen offers four ways to connect: Gmail and Microsoft / Outlook use one-click sign-in, Apple iCloud uses an app-specific password, and Custom IMAP accepts the server details of any IMAP-compatible provider. All inbox credentials are stored encrypted on your device only.

Features

  • Choose provider — four provider cards: Gmail, Microsoft, Apple (iCloud), and Custom IMAP.
  • GmailSign in with Google connects your Google account through one-click authentication.
  • MicrosoftSign in with Microsoft connects an Outlook / Microsoft 365 account through one-click authentication.
  • Apple iCloud — connect an iCloud.com mailbox using an app-specific password; the app walks you through generating one. See Connecting an Apple iCloud inbox.
  • Custom IMAP — enter account name, email, username, password / app password, and IMAP / SMTP servers and ports for any other provider. See Connecting a custom IMAP inbox.
  • Per-inbox colour — each inbox gets a board colour you can change later (see Settings).
  • Privacy — inbox configurations are encrypted and kept on the device; no email is stored on awaBerry servers.
