Creating Todo Stickers
Summary
The Todos panel is a side board for free-text reminders that live alongside your emails. A todo sticker is just a sticky note you type into — a quick "call the bank", "reply to Anna by Friday", or anything else you want kept in view. Like email stickers, a todo carries a needle: move it down to remove the note when the task is done. Todos are saved on your device and persist between sessions.
Features
- Add a todo — the + button at the top of the Todos panel creates a new, empty sticker with the cursor ready for typing.
- Type freely — each sticker is a multi-line text note; edits are saved automatically.
- Move the needle to remove — drag a todo's needle downward to clear the note once the task is done.
- Remove button — a small close (×) control also removes a todo.
- Helper note — while you have no todos, a read-only example sticker explains the panel ("Put your todo stickers here. Move the needle down to remove a todo sticker."); it disappears once you add your own.
- Collapse / expand — the chevron hides the panel to a thin bar and back.
- Persistent — todos are stored locally and reappear next time you open the board.
Scenarios
Jot down a reminder
- Tap + at the top of the Todos panel.
- Type your reminder into the new sticker.
- Tap elsewhere — the note is saved automatically.
Clear a finished todo
- Find the todo sticker for the task you have completed.
- Drag its needle down (or tap the × remove control).
- The sticker falls away and is removed from the panel.
