Summary
The Pinned panel (the Focused box) is a resizable area on the right of the board where you collect the emails you are actively working on. You drag stickers from the main board into one or more named sections; each section is an accordion that expands to show its stickers. Pinned emails stay put even as new mail arrives and as you clear the main board, so a long-running task always has its relevant messages at hand. The panel is desktop-only and can be collapsed to a thin bar when you don't need it.
Features
- Drag to pin — drag a sticker's body from the main board onto the Pinned panel (or onto a specific section) to add it there. The panel border highlights while a sticker is hovering.
- Named sections — the + button at the top of the panel adds a new focus section; tap a section's name to rename it. Sections show a count of the stickers they hold.
- Accordion behaviour — one section is expanded at a time; when several exist, a neighbour peeks below to signal you can scroll between them.
- Resize — drag the handle on the panel's left edge to make it wider (multiple stickers flow side-by-side) or as narrow as a single sticker.
- Collapse / expand — the chevron hides the panel to a slim bar; tap the bar to bring it back.
- Delete a section — remove a section you no longer need from its header controls.
Scenarios
Build a working set for a task
- Tap + at the top of the Pinned panel to create a section and give it a name (e.g. "Invoice follow-up").
- Drag each relevant email sticker from the board into that section.
- Clear the rest of the board as usual — your pinned emails remain in the section.
Widen the panel to see several pinned emails at once
- Hover the left edge of the Pinned panel until the resize cursor appears.
- Drag left to widen it; the stickers reflow into a grid.
- Release to keep the new width (it is remembered).
Tidy up after finishing
- Open the section and move each sticker's needle to clear the emails you have handled.
- Delete the now-empty section, or rename it for the next task.
- Collapse the panel with the chevron when you don't need it.
