Licence Plan Selection

At the top of the page, you will see options to select your desired license plan. These include a free usage plan, a connect plan, and various subscription plans. Once you select a plan, the application will automatically attempt to activate it or guide you to the next step.

Activation Status

As the application processes your license activation, you will see status messages:

  • Processing: A spinning circle along with messages like "Activating free usage license", "Activating free connect license", or "Open checkout page" indicates that the system is working on your request.
  • Success: A green checkmark icon and the message "Activation of license successful" confirms that your license has been activated. For connect licenses, a button labeled "Connect first device" will appear, allowing you to proceed.
  • Error: A red error icon and the message "Error on activation occurred - try again later" will be displayed if there was an issue during activation. You might need to try again later or ensure you are logged in.

Subscription Information (for paid plans)

  • Trial Phase: If your chosen subscription plan includes a trial, you will see a message stating: "During the trial phase, cancellation is possible at any time at no cost."
  • Checkout Cancellation: If you previously started a subscription checkout but cancelled it, a prominent message will appear: "You have cancelled the checkout process. Please select another plan or start again."
  • Subscribe Button: For paid plans that are not yet subscribed, an "Subscribe" button will be available to initiate the payment process, which will typically open in a new web browser tab.

    • Click "Connect first device" to proceed to the device connection page.
  3. Subscribing to a Paid Plan:
    • Navigate to the license activation page.
    • Select your desired paid plan (e.g., "Pro").
    • If a trial is available, you will see information about it.
    • Click the "Subscribe" button.
    • The application will display "Open checkout page" briefly and then open a secure payment portal in your web browser.
    • Complete the payment process in the web browser.
    • After successful payment, you will likely return to the application, which will then reflect your activated subscription.
