Account Management -> Wait for email confirmation

Wait for email confirmation

Summary

This page is displayed immediately after you create your account. Its primary purpose is to help you finalize your account setup by confirming your email address. You can do this in two ways: either by clicking a unique confirmation link sent to your registered email or by entering a Transaction Authentication Number (TAN) provided in the same email. This ensures that your email address is valid and secures your new account.

Scenario Executions

Possible usage steps within this page

Scenario 1: Confirming via Email Link (Recommended)

This is the simplest and recommended way to confirm your email. After creating your account:

  1. Check the inbox of the email address you used for registration. Look for an email from AwaBerry.com. If you don't see it, please check your spam or junk folder.
  2. Open the confirmation email.
  3. Click the unique confirmation link provided within the email.
  4. Your browser will automatically redirect you, and if successful, you will be taken to the "Email Confirmed" page, indicating your account is ready.

Scenario 2: Confirming via TAN (Transaction Authentication Number)

If you prefer not to click the link, or if the link doesn't work for some reason, you can manually enter the TAN:

  1. Find the 6-digit TAN (Transaction Authentication Number) in the confirmation email sent to you by AwaBerry.com.
  2. On this "Wait for email confirmation" page, locate the "Enter TAN" field.
  3. Carefully type the 6-digit TAN into the field.
  4. Click the "Verify TAN" button.
  5. If the TAN is correct, you will be automatically redirected to the "Email Confirmed" page.

Scenario 3: Confirming via TAN with "Not a robot" Verification

In some cases, if there have been multiple failed attempts to verify the TAN, a "Not a robot" security check will appear:

  1. Follow steps 1-3 from Scenario 2 to enter your TAN.
  2. If you attempt to verify an incorrect TAN twice, a section titled "Check the box - human verification" will appear, usually with a checkbox.
  3. Complete the "Not a robot" verification. This typically involves clicking a checkbox or solving a simple puzzle.
  4. Once the "Not a robot" verification is successful, re-enter your TAN if necessary (or ensure the correct one is still in the field).
  5. Click the "Verify TAN" button.
  6. If both the "Not a robot" check and the TAN are correct, you will be redirected to the "Email Confirmed" page.

Possible errors which may occur on this page

Error: Invalid TAN Format

When it happens: You try to enter a TAN that is empty or contains fewer than 6 characters.

What you see: A message stating "Please enter TAN, a valid TAN has six characters." will appear below the TAN input field.

What to do: Ensure you enter the complete 6-digit TAN exactly as it appears in your email.

Error: TAN is Not Correct

When it happens: You have entered a 6-digit TAN, but it does not match the one sent to your email or has expired.

What you see: A red error box will display "TAN is not correct."

What to do: Double-check the TAN in your email for any typos. If the error persists after a few attempts, you might need to request a new confirmation email or check the "I have received no email" option.

Error: "Not a robot" Verification Required

When it happens: After two or more incorrect TAN attempts, the "Not a robot" verification widget appears, but you try to verify the TAN without completing it.

What you see: A red error box will display "Please complete the 'Not a robot' verification to continue."

What to do: Before clicking "Verify TAN" again, make sure to successfully complete the "Not a robot" check.

Error: "Not a robot" Verification Failed

When it happens: You attempted to complete the "Not a robot" verification, but the system could not confirm you are human.

What you see: A red error box will display "'Not a robot' verification failed. Please try again."

What to do: Try completing the "Not a robot" verification again. If problems persist, ensure you have a stable internet connection or try clearing your browser cache.

Error: Expired Link or No Session Email

When it happens: You arrive at this page without having recently registered or by using an old, expired email confirmation link.

What you see: The page will automatically redirect you to the Login page.

What to do: If you were expecting to confirm an email, you may need to start the registration or login process again to ensure a valid session.

Action: Received No Email

When it happens: You have waited, checked spam, and still haven't received the confirmation email.

What you do: Click the "I have received no email" button.

What happens next: You will be navigated to a different page (`/noemailreceived`) to get further assistance or options for resending the email.
